Learn to admit mistakes

No individual is free from making mistakes. Not every judgement can be correct. If and when we realize our mistakes, we must graciously admit those. We must be truthful always. I could convert my bitter experiences to better experiences by admitting the mistakes.

Though these thoughts can be applied anywhere and everywhere , it becomes more important if and when our judgements affect the general public. That’s how the decisions made by the leaders of the nations become more important. There is no point in satisfying private egos if it affects lot of people adversely.

Let me confine now these thoughts to the Atomic Chill encoding in Malayalam. I simply request the persons who are capable of making the decision to think for the community and be truthful to themselves. It is not proper to encode Chills atomically when it is challenged without responses  that the decision cannot solve any of the problems and can create only newer threats .

    dear ralminov
I support atomic encoding of chills. but i am not the decision maker. its my opinion and the decisions are taken by utc. when you think the atomic encoding of chills are useless, let the utc know it. again not in the mailing list, through a proposal submission to utc. if your points carry more weight than the atomic proposal, ofcourse utc will drop that decision. there is still time to do it. dont waste time. as far as i’m concerned, i still stand for atomic encoding of chills, and feel thats good for the malayalam language.

    Dear Kevin,
Thanks for your comment. But I don’t know how to submit a proposal to UTC, and whether UTC will ever consider a proposal from an “anonymous Ralminov”.
As the atomic Chill encoding cannot solve the problems of the “Cils” of YA, ZHA, SA, SSA, TA etc, there is no point in adding 6 more codepoints.
Anyway, I will try to submit a formal proposal/appeal to drop the decision to encode 6 of the Cils atomically, if it is not too late.
I was “not” surprised to see the name of our friend in the participants’ list of the last UTC meeting.
Thanks again for your heartfelt and truthful comment.
