Meera and Vista

Meera_g02 (the one released for Linux) can work with Vista in a basic manner now. See the Flickr photo for a screenshot. As the release was intended for a Linux based system, there are some spacing issues. But Malayalam rendering is perfect (I couldn’t find a nuance yet, even ചില്ലു് is working fine).

    I think the spacing issue is because of imperfect hinting.Also I find, from the scrot, that this problem is less pronounced for bigger font sizes.

    I think the g02 releases of Rachana and Meera, when properly hinted can be used perfectly in Vista (new Uniscribe)(can be released as w02 releases)

    മീരയ്‌ക്ക്‌ വിസ്റ്റയില്‍ `ര്യ’ എന്ന അക്ഷരത്തിന്‌ മാത്രം പ്രശ്‌നമുണ്ട്‌… അതു പരിഹരിച്ചുവോ?….
